During my stay, I found the room to be immaculately clean, equipped with essential amenities such as a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. While the self-serve breakfast fell short of my expectations-favoring a more substantial option like a full English-the gesture of providing a morning meal was appreciated. An unforeseen inconvenience arose with a malfunctioning bathroom tap, requiring me to switch it off at the mains. Despite this setback, the experience was pleasant, largely due to Steve, the attentive staff member who went above and beyond in assisting us. His attention to detail included ironing clothes and offering helpful local tips, which added value to our stay. While Halcyon presents a good blend of comfort and value, potential guests should weigh their expectations of breakfast options and amenities against the pricing. It's a suitable choice for those seeking a relaxed stay in Eastbourne.
